Cable Nelson opened its doors for the first time in 1903 as the Cable Piano Company. Two years later, Nelson joined the company and they began building pianos in the bustling industrial center of Chicago. As with many early piano companies, Cable Nelson changed hands several times. Past owners included Hammond, Everett, and (eventually) Yamaha. In 1981, Cable Nelson ceased building pianos in the US and began to produce instruments overseas.
...but don't let this piano fool you. It may have been built in 1961, but it was made in America and it's designed to last! Still in excellent shape inside and out, this affordable little piano is ideal for beginners, piano enthusiasts or piano loves with limited space.
