Three brothers (Young, Chang and Sup) began the Young Chang piano manufacturing company in Seoul, Korea in 1962 - initially as an assembly plant for parts made from Yamaha. Yamaha helped the company get on its feet as the first piano builder in Korea. In 1975, Yamaha and Young Chang parted ways as Young Chang continued to expand. Over the years, Young Chang has made pianos under the names Astor, Cline, Essex (for Steinway), Ibach, Knabe, Pramberger, Schafer & Sons, Weber, Wurlitzer and more. Today, new Young Chang pianos are built in their Chinese factory.

This Korean-built used Young Chang grand piano is an excellent choice for any church, school or recording studio. At six-foot-five, it's big enough to fill even large rooms with crisp, resonant sound and a very satisfying bass! It's traditional ebony polish finish is incredibly durable and its brass hardware is solid (not plated like lesser instruments), so this piano will "look the part" for decades to come.
