James Harding
Originally from the farmlands of Iowa, James Harding has built a reputation in the Piano Industry as a technology and music education expert. He studied piano from 4 years old until he graduated from L'école de Musique at age 18. He then went on to major in voice and music ministry until finally entering The Piano Business in 2001.
Over the past 25+ years, James has received countless awards and certifications from such prestigious names as Henry Steinway and Ikutaro Kakehashi (Founder of Roland) and countless representatives from Yamaha, Kawai, Baldwin and more. Through his columns and published articles - and his presentations for industry groups all over the US - James has had the opportunity to share ideas with the most creative minds in The Music Business.
An avid blogger, web designer, author and musician, James is always working on something new.
Sonja Lynne
Having worked for several piano retailers and managed a number of wholesale sales teams, Sonja Lynne has a vast and tremendously diverse range of experience in the music products industry. She also co-founded a company that serves churches and individuals who utilize the Drawbar Organ sound.
She has received numerous sales awards in representing manufacturers such as Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai, Baldwin, Pearl River, Hammond, Roland, Young Chang, and more.
At Riverton, Sonja manages our Scottsdale store consults with piano clients, supports area institutions and organizes Riverton's busy concert piano rental clientele.
Sonja has a Master’s Degrees in Voice and Opera Singing. She loves to travel, sing, and spend time with friends and family.
