Steinway Model M
Used Player Piano
Designed for small homes, apartments, or small teaching studios, the Steinway Model M was first introduced in 1911 - the same year Pennsylvanian, Ray Harroun (and his historic “Rear-view” mirror), went on to win the first “Indianapolis 500.” Today, this model is still recognized as one of Steinway's most popular pianos.
Yes. You read that right. This piano is appointed with a rare Kewazinga Bubinga satin finish. When cutting veneer for most types of woods (walnut, cherry, mahogany, etc.), it's traditional to use a big mechanical slicer to cut through the log and create a series of thin veneer pieces called a "book". ...but Kewazinga Bubinga starts with an African Bubinga tree that is put on a lathe and turned so thin slices of wood can be shaved off (across the grain) to create the &buot;book" of veneer. This gives Kewazinga Bubinga pianos a unique - almost 3D - quality to their finish. You just have to see it to understand! Even better - the piano is signed by Henry Steinway himself - the last member of the Steinway family to oversee the company. You can't buy one like this new! Built in 2006, this gorgeous piano has been outfitted with a brand new PianoDisc Prodigy wireless player system, including over 600 songs! Come in today and fall in love!
